Hi there! I'm Sarah, the creative mind (and hands!) behind Quilting Shamrock.
I started sewing seriously in 2013 when I made a baby quilt (which I promptly gave away), and I’ve been hooked ever since. I've lost track of how many quilts I've created over the years - and I firmly believe the world can never have too many. The more quilts, the better! These days, no road trip is complete without a stop at a local quilt shop.
I first learned to quilt on my mom’s longarm and eventually added a Bernina Q24 to my own studio. I absolutely love finishing quilts for others and watching how quilting can completely transform a piece - from beautiful to breathtaking.
By day, I’m an engineer for a medical device company. Outside of work, I love traveling, shamrocks, quilting (of course), and quoting The Office (Michael Scott is my spirit animal). Also, sunglasses? Always. You’ll rarely catch me without a pair!
Thanks for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here!
